About Us
The department was established in September 2021 as an implementing agency under the aimag Governor's authority and was renamed the "Culture Department" by Government Resolution 377 of 2021. It was established with 2 departments and 12 people. Due to changes in the structure and organization of ministries by Resolution No. 06 of 2024 of the Government of Mongolia, the department was renamed the Culture, Arts, Tourism and Youth Department from September 2024 and is operating with 18 positions with the addition of employees responsible for Travel, Tourism and Youth Affairs.
