Bagahangai district of the capital is geographically located 90 km southeast of Ulaanbaatar city and has favourable natural and climatic conditions, clean air, road communication and infrastructure development. It is a remote district of the capital, bordered by Sergelen Sum of the Central Province in the north, Bayan Sum in the east and south, and connected to the central districts of Ulaanbaatar by 107 km of railway and 90 km of paved roads.
