Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg visited the Diplomatic School of Spain under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain during her official visit. 

Ambassador Cecilia Robles Cartes, provided the detailed overview of the institution’s programs and activities. 

During the meeting, Minister B.Battsetseg agreed on cooperating with the Diplomatic School, on improving the capabilities of diplomats in response to evolving international dynamics and developing Spanish-language expertise among Mongolian diplomats. 

During her visit, Minister B.Battsetseg delivered a lecture to master’s degree students on Mongolia’s foreign policy, highlighting its priorities and key initiatives. 

The Diplomatic School under the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation was founded in Madrid in 1942. The Master's program in International Relations is offered in collaboration with Spanish universities and prepares diplomats and civil servants in the fields of international law and international relations. 

In addition to foreign relations and diplomacy, the Diplomatic School also offers courses in the European Union, protocol, Islam and human rights. Each academic year, the school’s opening ceremony is attended by the King of Spain along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
