The Prime Minister of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene along with First Deputy Prime Minister L.Gantumor and Deputy Prime Minister T.Dorjkhand today presented the Government's Action Program for 2024-2028, Amendments to the 2024 Budget Law of Mongolia and other supporting laws. Chairman of the Great Khural D. Amarbayasgalan presented the report.

The prime minister noted that the government's action program for 2024-2028 is the beginning of the basic reform of social and economic development that will set the right start for the new 30 years. When developing the project, it was aligned with Mongolia's long-term and medium-term development policies, such as "Vision-2050" and "Regional Development Concept", and based on the election platform of the Mongolian People's Party, Democratic Party, and People's Party, which won seats in the State Parliament in the 2024 elections, the government, suggestions of the private sector, academia, research, civil society and international organizations are reflected.

In the action program of the government, four main policy directions are defined, and within each of them, four goals and a total of 593 activities are planned to be implemented.

The main reason for the amendment in this year's budget is to solve the necessary funding for the immediate start of the work on the mega projects included in the 2024-2028 agenda of the newly established government as a result of the regular parliamentary elections.
