General Hospital of State Special Employees was founded on June 7, 1933 as the hospital of the Department of Internal Defense, and has a rich history of 91 years. It is one of the oldest hospitals in Mongolia. By Resolution No. 68 of the Government of Mongolia dated August 31, 2016, it was revived under the responsibility of the Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs, and was opened on December 28, 2016 under the name "General Hospital for Special Government Employees". . The hospital has 246 beds, 9 wards, treats 10,000-11,000 clients annually in specialized specialties (internal medicine, neurology, surgery, trauma, gynecology), provides surgical care to 2,300-2,500 people, and provides outpatient basic and specialized specialty cabinets for 420,000 per year. About 200,000 citizens are provided with public health care and services. Also, starting from November 1, 2020, trauma care and services have been provided to the citizens of Chingeltei district. The outpatient clinic of the hospital has 21 basic and specialized specialties, 13 diagnostic rooms, 246 beds in the inpatient treatment department, and an average of 7,500-8,000 clients per year in specialized specialties (internal medicine, neurology, surgery, trauma, emergency care, intensive care, pediatric, traditional) 2,000-2,500 people are treated, surgical assistance is provided, and medical care and services are provided to about 200,000 citizens per year.
