
On February 15, Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh met with India's Minister of External Affairs, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in Munich.

The ministers agreed to organize high-level visits, business forums, and cultural events between Mongolia and India, commemorating the historic 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. They also committed to strengthening bilateral ties through cooperation mechanisms such as the Intergovernmental Commission and consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, they decided to explore opportunities to introduce advanced Indian technology to Mongolia’s agricultural sector and to employ English language teachers in Mongolia.
Foreign Minister Battsetseg expressed her gratitude to the Indian side for its support in securing additional financing for the oil refinery project. The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to collaborating closely to ensure the project is completed within the agreed timeframe.
