On February 14, Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh met with Abdullatif Bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, during her attendance at the Munich Security Conference.

At the outset of the meeting, Minister Battsetseg expressed her gratitude for the successful organization of the Prime Minister of Mongolia's visit to Bahrain late last year. The two ministers discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation across various sectors, including expanding trade, business, and mining ties, as well as exploring opportunities for collaborative geological survey.

Furthermore, the Bahraini side welcomed Mongolia's proposal to establish a formal cooperation mechanism aimed at implementing the issues agreed at the highest levels, thereby promoting deeper and more effective collaboration between the two countries.
