The industry awards given by the Ministry of Education and Science have the following categories: Government and Ministry. It includes:

1. Government Award:

1.1. Honorary badge "Chief Education Officer";

1.2. Honorary badge "Leader of Science";

2. Award of the Ministry of Education and Science:

2.1. Ministry's "Letter";

2.3. "Propagator of national literary culture" badge and ID card;

When will the prize be awarded?

The award will be given to employees who have made a real contribution to the development of the education and science sector, and who have successfully worked, based on the requirements specified in the regulations, in the order of the Ministry and the Government. When nominating for the award, it will be taken into account whether they have been working steadily in the field for at least 3 years after being awarded the previous award, and whether their work achievements have increased from the previous level.

The award will be given on World /Mongolian/Teachers' Day; (every year on October 5th, Science Worker's Day (every year on the 4th Sunday of November), National Literacy Day under the banner of "Propagator of National Literacy Culture" (first Sunday of May every year) and 50 or more 10-year equinoxes of the respective branch organization, and will be given on the occasion of the anniversaries mentioned below.

What documents to prepare?

1. Official letter of the organization that applied for the award /regardless of the form of ownership/;

2. Minutes of community meetings;

3. Detailed job description, list of works and patent, utility model certificate, proof that the candidate for the "Top Scientist" award has obtained a doctorate degree;

4. Application form filled in according to the approved model;

5. If awarded with other awards of the Ministry or the government, a copy of the certificate certifying them shall be provided.

Where do I apply for an award?

If the primary organization applying to be awarded with the branch award or senior employee is the organization that worked until old age retirement, at least 45 days before the above-mentioned holiday or anniversary, the documents of the candidate for the "Scientific Top Worker" award should be submitted to the Ministry of Science Policy Issues. other awards will be given to the regional education department of the primary organization /province, metropolitan education department, or consortium of universities if it is a university. These institutions shall apply electronically to the information system of the education sector (www.esis.edu.mn).

What to do to compensate lost badges and ID cards?

1. In case of compensation due to the wasting of award badges and ID cards, the following documents will be prepared and addressed to the Ministry, and the decision will be made on the spot.

2. Application or official letter

3. Copy of identity card

4. Copy of the award certificate, certificate, copy of the awarding order if it is lost

5. Receipt of money order / 10,000 /ten thousand/ MNT payment receipts, ID card, and certificate of payment for reimbursement by erasing the stamp on the account 100900015003 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Finance are free for reimbursement.

It can be granted free of charge for reasons of special respect (fire, water danger, ability to pay, Mongolian honorary title or higher, etc.).
