In connection with the announcement of 2026 as the "Year of Education Support" by the Government of Mongolia, a Teachers' Conference was organized to introduce the implementation of education sector policies and goals in anticipation of the new academic year. This academic year, a total of 20,776 students will be enrolled in 32 general education schools in the aimag, and 1,834 children will be newly enrolled in the first grade. 6,576 children have registered to study in 41 kindergartens, 38 state-owned and 3 private. Also, 1,419 children will acquire specializations in 16 specialties in 4 polytechnic colleges of vocational education. Our aimag is working to deepen the implementation of the new education revival policy and package of laws in the 2025-2026 academic year and to create equal opportunities for every student to receive quality education.
