Minister of Mongolia, Chairman of the National Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation E. Odbayar presented the implementation of the 2024 plan for sectoral monitoring and evaluation and the 2024 activity report of the National Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation at the regular meeting of the Government on March 26, 2025.
📌 Out of the 64,168 facilities planned to be inspected in 2024, 14,964 were planned, 12,031 were unplanned, and 37,173 were preventive inspections. As a result of the planned inspections conducted at 13,759 facilities, 62,609 violations were detected, while 1,205 facilities were not inspected. However, unplanned inspections were conducted at 12,031 facilities, and the implementation of the plan was 92%.
📌 When clarifying the reasons for non-inspection, 367 were reported as non-operation or suspension, 13 as absence of state inspectors, and 825 as other reasons such as weather conditions, fuel, transportation, and travel expenses not resolved, or expansion or repair.
📌 In the same year, a total of 15,578 violations were detected through unscheduled inspections, and 11,854 violations were completely eliminated (76.09%), while 35,593 violations were detected through preventive inspections, and 11,399 violations were eliminated, or 32% of the total.
📌 Since the total violations detected in the same year were 113,780, the elimination of violations was 59,535 or 52.3%, there is a need to increase the elimination of violations detected within the scope of sectoral inspections and improve the coordination of inspection organizations.
