On this day when academic institutions open their doors across the country, Aimag Governor L. Tumkurchodur attended and congratulated the opening of the new academic year at Bayanchandman Soum Secondary School, Polytechnic College, and “Odod” Kindergarten. This academic year, a total of 20,776 students will attend 32 general education schools in the aimag, and 1,834 children will enroll in the first grade. 6,576 children have registered to study in 41 state-owned preschools and 3 private ones. Also, 1,419 children will study in 16 specialties at 4 polytechnic colleges of vocational education. Our aimag is working to deepen the implementation of the new education revival policy and package of laws in the 2025-2026 academic year and to create equal opportunities for every student to receive quality education.
