“FANTASTIC” PRODUCTION ACTOR J. ALTANSHAGAI: THERE IS NO BUSY TIME IN MY LIFE
“FANTASTIC” PRODUCTION ACTOR J. ALTANSHAGAI: THERE IS NO BUSY TIME IN MY LIFE

-I think you are one of the young people who set a good example for society. How have you built yourself up to this day?
-My homeland has three precious borders. By the way, I am happy to meet with the border guards who guard the silk border of our country through the “Ekh orny manaa” newspaper. It is the best thing to say every morning that “the inviolable and inviolable borders of Mongolia are peaceful and peaceful.” I give this speech every morning and greet all the border guards who guard the border in four directions, eight directions, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, and who are reading this interview. What is there to say without greeting the border guards? For me, I came to Ulaanbaatar from Khentii aimag and became a student like everyone else. I graduated from the acting class of the State University of Mongolia. There was no time in my life when I had free time or space. There were always days when I was busy, hosting, filming, and organizing some kind of event. There was no time to stop. I worked hard and created myself during all this time. If a person is busy doing the right things, it is very pointless to be busy doing the wrong things and being busy without any results.
-SUIS is said to be a fairly orderly school. Did the influence of the elders increase?
-A person gets motivation, confidence, and encouragement from life. If you are imitating others, you should imitate their good qualities. People are not equal, everyone has flaws. It is important to have the right role models.
-What do you get pleasure from in life?
-First of all, from your family. There is no man who does not get pleasure from his family and children. Secondly, I am a person who is engaged in firearms sports. I get satisfaction from it. Three associations are actively operating in Mongolia: “Practical Shooting Association”, “Turbotur”, and “Defense Rifle Association”. I participated in many competitions and competitions with the 0303rd unit of the Border Guard. I am very proud to see them. The athlete of the 0208th special branch of the Border Guard, the National wrestler, the Mongolian elephant, Lieutenant Colonel B. Soronzonbold, is shooting very well and raising the name of the Border Guard Organization high. He is a very good shooter. In general, our border guards are very good shooters. I think it is great that such good young men are on our side. It is a matter of pride to have such good young men in the special branch of the Border Guard. I also think, what if such “terrible” capable comrades were bad people?
-Does practicing shooting sports give you a great advantage when playing in the shooting scenes of the film?
-There is hardly a man who is not interested in firearms. Almost 10 percent of them would say, “Oh, no problem,” but 90 percent would be interested. There is a saying that “in all historical times, only good men who held firearms defended their homeland.” The only branch of the military that carries firearms in peacetime is the border guard. When I advise new soldiers, ensure the safety of their firearms very well. I don’t give advice. But you should pay close attention to it. A gun with a bullet in the barrel is very dangerous. Always turn off the safety of the firearm and monitor it. Do not even put your finger on the barrel of the gun before firing. During the shooting, you must monitor and monitor the safety of the immediate area. All this is, of course, taught and recommended by our border guards and weapons masters. But you need to make it a permanent habit in life. This is something that will always be useful in your life.

-When did the idea of the border guard and patriotism develop in you?
-My father served in the 0151st unit of the Border Guard. Also, the border guard Colonel P. Mönkh-Erdene is my friend. Director B. Tamiraa’s father, O. Bat-Ulzii, also served in the Border Guard. Interestingly, that person went to Mongolia for the first time to serve with his dog. It is said that he asked the Border Guard leadership at that time, “I want to serve at the border, can I take my dog with me?” And he took his shepherd dog with him and served at the border. I learned about the border and the integrity of the territory from my father. When I first filmed the “Top Secret I” MUSK at the Border Guard Unit 0151 transit center, I contacted the Border Guard Organization and met the border guards for the first time. After that, the film I filmed almost at the border was “Baitag Bogd”. That story should never be forgotten, and future generations should always remember it. I played the role of Begziin Givaan, one of the three heroes of the Baitag Bogd. I am very proud of this role. One of the roles I always remember is, of course, the role of B. Givaan. The filming was done in Baitag Bogd. I visited the B. Givaan outpost. I was received with respect. Seeing everyone from the unit commander to the outpost dog standing in line, I couldn't help but shed a man's tears. Our border guards really work and live amazingly. I saw with my own eyes that they have a very interesting life.

After graduating from two or three universities, I was watching my wife working and living at the border of my country with her husband. I was proud to see the border guards working day and night, tirelessly. This is the work of people who truly love their country and are proud of their country. That's how I got closer to my border guards through "Baitag Bogd".
-The "Baitag Bogd" MUSK was shown to young people who were drafted to serve in the border troops at the military transit center. Rather than saying that border troops are like this and that, when they showed the work, they said, "Okay, let's go quickly and guard the border." They say, "Among all the arts, cinema is the most important." There is an expectation that border-themed works like "Baitag Bogd" will be reborn. What do you have to say about this?
-I don't know anything yet. Maybe "Top Secret III" will be made. In fact, the “Baitag Bogd” MUSK is just one example of a confrontation and battle that took place in the history of the border. If we talk about the Khalkhin Gol War and the modern information war, there is a wealth of information. We could probably make a movie about the events that were removed from the secret list. There are many stories of heroic border guards, both known and unknown to us. There are many stories of wonderful border guards who, devoting their lives and everything to protecting the sacred border of their homeland, did not let a single enemy enter the border line. There is a terrible saying that “We left this world at the age of 20 so that future generations could see you flying like seagulls.” Border guards protecting their homeland is a great and irreplaceable value.
-How do you see the work and life of our border guards?
-They say that serving on the border of your homeland and watching the morning sunrise from the watchtower makes you look younger. This is true. From the border, you see your homeland in the most beautiful and most wonderful way. If you have experienced this, you are lucky. I tell the conscripts serving on the border, “You have seen the best things in your life that you will never forget. I am proud of you.” There are also young people serving on contracts. There are officers and captains who have taken their wives and children with them. Mongolia will be proud of you for generations to come. Your names and lineage will be written in golden letters in the history of Mongolia. The young people who are dedicating their youth and everything they can do for their homeland are the young people on the border today. Class commanders, staff members, cultural workers, cooks, and ordinary employees all belong to this. They are all protecting the border with their horses and dogs. This is a miracle. I am truly proud of you. A person can only do what he can in this life. This is your destiny, which can be said to be God-given. Your name will be written in golden letters that will never be forgotten in the modern history of Mongolia. Even if you don’t write it with golden letters, I think your story will be written in gold.
-What thoughts came to your mind when you were riding along the border line?
-It was a truly wonderful feeling that cannot be replaced by anything. Beyond this line is the territory of Russia. Beyond that, the territory of China. But this is the silk border of our country, and when you say it, your heart is moved, your voice is hoarse, and your eyes are wide open. When you see the border, you become alert and alert. No one will say, “Go and cross it.” But when you see the border, you can’t help but think, “Lest a border violator come in.” That is why our border guards report to the Mongolian Border Guard Service every morning along with the national anthem of Mongolia, “There is peace and quiet on the Mongolian border.” These words are very powerful and very beautiful. It is a miracle to see and protect the homeland with your own eyes and declare that it is peaceful. This is the most beautiful feeling. In modern times, news is given by the station. At the end of the movie “Baitagbogd”, when our 10 heroes fight and die, the survivors are left, the wounded are wounded, and the army arrives, they announce “The border of the Mongolian People’s Republic is peaceful.” This is a wonderful word. Any Mongolian man would be moved to tears when he hears this word.
-The border guards announce their peace to their superiors every day. Every time I hear it, I get the best feeling.
-It’s really great. Once, I was in Selenge aimag, not knowing the location of the land, and I was looking for my family and animals, and I came close to the border area. Then, three border guards with their canes drawn, wearing border guards’ uniforms, and riding horses came out, saying, “These are Mongolian border guards. You have entered the border area of the country.” It was a cold night. Young border guards in their early twenties. It immediately hit me. So I got out of the car and went there. “Let’s go find a place to stay,” I said. It seemed like he recognized me as an actor. “You should head that way. If you get lost and can’t find your way, go to our outpost,” he said, and advised me. We travel abroad a lot. When we land in our MIAT plane, the border guards greet us with “Have a good trip. Welcome to your homeland.” It’s a really nice feeling when our border guards greet us like this. Especially for Mongolians who have been living and working abroad for a long time, it feels very strange. I think people should treat the border guards very respectfully when crossing the border of their country. Some of them seem to be very angry and act like they are in a hurry. Yes, yes, we are the masters of this country. True. But the uniformed border guard sitting opposite you is a person guarding the border of their country. They are a person guarding the air border. They are not just there to stamp your passport.
-“Tsevun Saag” MUSK is opening. Would you like to briefly introduce your new work?
-This is a work from last summer. A film called “Tsevun Saag” directed by MUSK O. Bat-Ulzii, co-directed by B. Tamiraa, and starring myself. The story covers the years 1912-1927, and is based on a true story about how the Mongolians went through difficult times.
-Border guards have become quite technical lately. Have you received any information about this?
-The border guard organization today guards the Mongolian border on a large scale with professional border guards based on modern technical equipment. Our border is not easily penetrated. This border has been guarded by the heroic sons and daughters of our country for generations and generations. It is guarding it now and will continue to guard it in the future. As long as Mongolia has a homeland, there is a border line. As long as this border line exists, border guards will continue to guard our country. I tell my children this too. How lucky I am to have played for the “Baitagbogd” MUSK. I consider this a great fate. Our border guards have not blinked for a single second, 24 hours, seven days, 365 days. They will never blink. That is why they will not violate our border so easily. The Mongolian border is guarded by the best-fit, best-minded, sharpest-witted, and most professional sons and daughters. The best generals and best colonels are leading and directing the border guard service. The best officers, captains, and employees are performing their duties competently. That's why I sleep peacefully at home. I don't think so, if ever the homeland's defense is called, I am always ready. The young people who ride horses, start motorcycles, drive drones, and drive cars and boats while performing their duties on the Mongolian defense border should always remember that endurance is very important. This depends on how brave you are, how well you master your weapons, how you behave, how well you are personally organized, and how well you obey your superiors. Leadership is leadership. A military organization is carried out by its vertical leadership. The commander's word is the commander's word. You should respect him. You should always listen to people. In general, the only thing that works for a military person is the saying “know, do it”. You need to say it politely. You need to say “know, do it” with dignity. Then your life will not go very wrong. People seem to think that just because someone is a military leader, they beat people. But that is not the case. There are many ways. I cannot deny that it was like that in the old days. I have never stood next to him with a candle, so I do not know. However, I hope and understand that such a thing does not exist for young people who are on duty today.
-I would like to ask you many more questions, but let's end the conversation here out of respect for your next planned work. Thank you very much for taking the time to talk.
-I wish you, the distinguished officer of the Border Guard Organization, who has devoted his youth and warm blood to guarding the inviolable border of Mongolia, great success in your work. I wish you and your family who are guarding the Silk Road with you all the best. I wish happiness, health, and all the best not only to the border guards at the border, but also to the officers of the Central Regional Directorate and the Central Border Guard. I am always proud of you all. Every time I cross the air border, I treat the female border guards who are on duty at the border with great respect. I treat the border guards who are on duty at the border with respect. That is how it should be. To my young brothers and sisters who are serving in the military, I say again that watching the sunrise at the border makes you feel younger. My brothers and sisters, protect the border with honor and do your duty well. I will say this to my future border guards. May the inviolable border of Mongolia always be peaceful and secure. Thank you.
