At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Urban Development, Construction and Housing J. Batsuur emphasized that the Asian Development Bank has been one of Mongolia's main and multifaceted development partners since 1991, and we are satisfied with the continued effectiveness of our cooperation.
In the past, the Asian Development Bank provided 3 billion US dollars in loans, 335.7 million US dollars in grants, and 187.1 million US dollars in technical assistance, and implemented a total of 43 projects and measures in the field of water supply and other urban infrastructure and services.
Shannon Koulin, representative of the Asian Development Bank in Mongolia, said, "Our bank has been cooperating with the Government of Mongolia since 1997 to develop urban areas and create conditions for the population to live in a safe, healthy and comfortable environment. Mutual understanding and cooperation of the stakeholders is important for the implementation of any project. "We consider the Ministry of Urban Development, Construction and Housing to be a good partner."
In the future, the parties decided to study in detail the implementation of new strategies and technical assistance projects and measures for cooperation with partner countries of the Asian Development Bank, and to work on expanding and developing cooperation.
