On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the French Republic, opening ceremony of the postal stamp and photo exhibition, in cooperation with Mongol Post company, was held at the Ikh Nomin Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia on April 25, 2025. 

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Purevdorj, Deputy Chairman of the State Great Khural and Chair of the Mongolian-French Parliamentary Group, H.E. Ms. Corinne Pereira, Ambassador of the French Republic to Mongolia, Mr. Telmen Gerelt, CEO of the Mongol Post company, Heads of Diplomatic corps, international organizations in Ulaanbaatar, senior diplomats as well as honorary guests who contributed to the development of Mongolian-French relations attended.

 It has been a long tradition of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mongol Post company to create commemorative postal stamps and introduce it in the postal communications. 

The conference on “Sixty years of Mongolia-France relations” was held in cooperation with Institute of international relations and Mongolia-France friendship association at the Consensus hall of the Ministry. 

Mongolia and France established diplomatic relations on April 27, 1965 and a series of events set to be organized both in Ulaanbaatar and Paris throughout this year as a commemoration of the anniversary.
